KASPAR RAST

Kaspar Rast started playing the drums as six-yearold. At first selftaught but later educated at the JMS in zürich and Drummer-Collective in New York. Soon after he started touring and performing all over Europe but also in Africa and Southamerica. his unmistakeable sound and phrasing has also made him a very sought-after studiomusician – a master of fantastic soundscapes and unexpected grooves. His current projects include Nik Bärtsch`s Ronin und Mobile, Asita Hamidi's Bazaar and "Glass" featuring american vocalist Lyn Leon.
